Background

Horslips were the first "Celtic Rock" band, breaking onto the scene in 1972.
The lineup was

Jim Lockhart Johnny Fean Barry Devlin
Keyboard, concert flute and vocals Electric and acoustic guitar and vocals Bass guitar and vocals
Eamon Carr Charles O'Connor
Drums, bodhran, percussion and vocals Electric and asoustic fiddle, mandolin, concertina & vocals.
